tyler & jayme. the fact that they are super hot babes is obvious, but what you might not know from looking at them is that their hearts are ginormous (my 5 year old’s favorite word). we had an instant connection at our first meeting and since then they have always treated me as a friend. their rooftop wedding reflected the love they have for their city and if the beaming faces in the audience were any indication, i’m pretty sure their marriage is fully supported by all those who care for them. tyler & jayme: engaged

when we first met, i asked each of them what had initially attracted them to the other and their answers made me smile. she said his looks (which is so fun because often that’s the guy’s response) as he was super tanned and had a big beard while he talked about what a good heart she has and how she empathizes with people, especially the kids she works with. they are such a good match – both incredibly kind and generous and annoyingly good looking.

we had such a fun time hanging out together on their boat and have decided that i can now officially add marine photographer/sea captain to my list of skills/accomplishments.

mika & rebecca: engaged

i know these two are spending today, a day to celebrate love, apart. so as my gift to them, here’s a little reminder of a day they were together. keeping each other warm, making each other laugh, reminiscing about first dates…a good day.

i loved rebecca’s story of how on their second date, he picked her up in what she determined to be a “junker” car and wondered why someone with a steady job couldn’t afford a more reliable vehicle. it was only after a few months of dating that she began to notice all the stares and compliments that “junker” car got and realized it was actually what one might call a “classic”.
